I have been looking for a bellyband holster that lets me carry my pistol in my back. I ordered the Wingswind bellyband holster because it looked like it would be comfortable and give me a variety of ways to conceal my pistols.
When I got the holster, my first thought was that I had gotten a fanny pack. There's no getting around it: it looks like a fanny pack. However, my second impression was very positive. The belt is made of comfortable elastic and has a sturdy buckle. This makes the holster much easier to take on and off. It is also very easy to adjust with a sliding buckle like a backpack.
The holster does a great job with both compact and standard pistols. It has an elastic loop to hold the pistol in place which can be tucked out of the way. It's ambidextrous so you can flip the gun and magazine if you are left handed. This also allows you to carry the pistol in your back, which is not possible with non-ambidextrous holsters.
The one problem I had with the holster is that the belt is slick, which means that the buckle slips and it can come loose. If you are carrying the holster inside the waistband, the waistband also holds the gun in place and it doesn't move too much. If this is a problem, you can use a paper clip in the belt to stop the buckle from sliding.
After testing the holster, I would recommend this to a friend. You can buy the holster on Amazon at:
