Picked up a new flashlight this past week in exchange for an honest review.
This is a really handy flashlight for working in the garage or keeping in your car. The main light adjusts from a wide beam to a narrow point and lit up everything in my yard. The lantern is really bright, and combined with the magnet it makes the flashlight perfect for working on your car, house, etc. The red lantern strobe is equally bright, and combined with the pulse pattern it will definitely get attention in an emergency situation.
Since the light had so many sliding parts, I expected it to rattle or slip around, but the O-rings and threads held everything together well and it took effort to expand the light. Didn't rattle or make any noise when I walked around with it in my pocket. We'll see how it holds up.
While it would probably be brighter if it used stronger batteries, I like that it takes AAAs. It's frustrating to have flashlights die when you need special batteries for them.
The light does not have any settings to change the red pulse or adjust brightness, but those features are often glitchy on most lights I've had for that price point. Overall, I'm happy with the light and plan to get lots of use out of it. I definitely recommend picking it up if you're looking for a new emergency flashlight for your car or need a light for working in the garage. It can be picked up on Amazon.com at the following link:
